Healthy diet plans - Awareness is growing about diet problems
There is a growing awareness about how serious this problem is. The latest figures (2017) are continuing to show rather dramatic continual increases in the number of overweight and obese people.
In fact, in the USA the actual figures are terrifying and sadly, many other western countries such as the UK, Germany, Australia and others are not far behind.
In the US, almost 2 out of every 3 people can be considered to be overweight. 1 in every 3 is now considered obese.
Children are also beginning to suffer from excess weight
Even more worrying is the fact that the number of overweight children is getting worse and worse and obviously this will mean the overweight adults will increase even more.
The long term effects on individual health, families and the economy will be quite devastating.
The effects of this are already being seen. Medical costs in the UK, Europe and the US are skyrocketing. At first glance many illnesses and hospital treatments may appear to be unrelated to a fatter population, but this is not the case.
Overweight people can have many ailments which can be traced back to their excess weight. Many of these problems occur slowly over time and this is why the true causes can in fact be camouflaged.
Whilst some illness and diseases can occur very quickly and be acute, there are many conditions which build up over time and gradually drag the body down into a poor condition. Steady, unhealthy weight increases, does have this kind of effect on the general health of a person.

Good nutrition is vital. More vital than even we realised.
One thing that is abundantly clear to us after many months of looking into this is that good nutrition is vital. It is amazing how much more people eat when the quality of the food they eat is not very high.
We firmly believe that by eating good wholesome foods, your body will crave less and so you will eat fewer calories. Obviously this is a simplification, and fuller details will be released soon when our report is completed, but if nothing else we highly recommend that you supplement your diet with green superfood powder. Even one teaspoon a day can make that crucial difference and help you get on the road to a better diet and a healthier new you.
Consider doing a detox diet (intestinal cleanse)
Another thing our research came up with regarding diets and weight loss is that very often one of the side effects of doing a detox program or in other words, an intestinal cleanse is weight loss.
As well as getting rid of compacted fecal matter, once your intestine and colon have been cleansed, it is very common that a person doesn't feel the need to eat as much. There is much theorising about why this is the case. Perhaps it is because your body is better able to absorb the nutrients it needs after a cleanse. Perhaps it is because the person is now more aware about what they are eating after doing a detox cleanse.
Perhaps we will never know why, lets just be grateful that one side benefit of doing a cleanse is healthy weight loss in many cases.
Anyway, if you feel bunged up, not as energetic as you want to be or overweight, you should read up on detoxing and cleansing the intestines and see if this makes sense to you.
Losing a few pounds of excess weight is a great side benefit and knowing and seeing this progress is a great motivator. Once you see improvements, making long term life-style changes is much more easy to do and one's willpower is almost magically increased :-)
